She’s not stirring up drama for no reason, she doing this so the duke can sort out his feelings. It might be obvious to us since we’re the reader and we can hear his inner thoughts but she can’t. So she’s stuck wondering if he’s just claiming he loves her because she helped him out, in which those feelings would disappear in a while, or if it’s actually because he truly does enjoy being with her. Another reason why is to dispel the general public doubts they have in the couple once they go through with the marriage.
I agree. At this point the story is dragging on. I’m giving this webtoon a 3 stars at best. MC to me is just annoying at this point and I want it to be over already. I feel so bad for ML. I also don’t know why she has the “he has to prove his love to me” type agenda it’s so stupid... What’s the point? This sort of thing requires a time and conversations. She shouldn’t be making him chase after her. She’s playing “hard to get” and in my opinion that is very arrogant. She really thinks she’s all that and it’s not cute.

... yeah exactly but that doesn’t mean her dumbass should go back home to her estate to have him running for her. that’s so dumb, it’s like breaking up with ur boyfriend bc u dont know if he loves u bc everything has been going so good and u guys haven’t fought, so by breaking up and him running back to u saying he loves u will prove he does love u. that’s literally exactly what she’s doing all she had to do was ask if he loved her, but she didn’t even give him a chance to explain but ran and wanted to make him run after her. literally it’s all about communication and she did not do that. she stopped him when he was sorting out his thoughts and shut him down.

Like I said in my second reason, but maybe I should have been more specific-I meant- she wanted him to publicly chase after her so the general public can witness that they’re actually are marrying for love and that the whole Susan Thing were nothing but rumours.
If that’s actually what’s going on then she makes sense... But if it’s the other way around then I’m fine with her character. Only reason why I’m still reading this is for the ML... This is going to remain a 3 star (for me) if she really is just playing hard to get.

Dude stop, everything your hubby does is an obvious show of love. Just because there hasn’t been any trials to your love, it doesn’t mean you should go and make some!! Just wait a little and there will always be trials to your relationship. Yeah this shit is hella frustrating to read. I want to drop so bad, but I really did enjoy reading this a lot. Plus who knows maybe it’ll lead up to something good.
