I'm gonna say it I hate the "humanize the asshole mc" trope I hate it so much it's been used in literally every manga whith an asshole mc ever and all it does is make these characters avoid taking responsability for their actions. I've been knew this was going to happen ever since the second time seungho raped nakyum. I think this manhwa is really good so far so I just hope it doesn't fall into a common trap of the trope and just forgive seungho because that's the way he was raised???? Because he feels bad? Buddy even if you feel bad what does it matter if you still go ahead and do the bad thing??? Yes that's his reason for being a dick but not an excuse for it. Again so far we sill don't know if that's how it'll actually play out and if it doesn't I'll be really happy because again I thing PotN is so good!! but it's getting awfully close to doing that. I mean we already have seungho (known murderer and rapist) sympathizers in the comments because "he was raised as a lord and he felt bad after raping nakyum" hey rapists in court sould just say they felt bad afterwards, I'm sure that'll check out. (And before you say this is fiction my problem isnt the rape it's the possibility of bad character development)

I feel the exact same way I want nakyum to leave showing that he can still be better in the end and be himself most importantly. He doesn't have to be with the murderer/rapist/kidnapper in the end because it's really just disgusting to romanticize this shit. I feel that the same thing will happen sadly especially after this. But I'm glad I see someone actually agrees with what I've been thinking. I'll keep hope that nakyum will be on his way as a whole character. Another problem it shows is that rape is a common thing in gay relationships and that they like it and are fine with it afterwards.

You may get down votes but don't worry I'm with you. The trope needs to die. Some things just shouldn't be romanticized

Exactly!! Even if they end up together, dont 'humanize' him by suddely showing his 'sensitive side', redeem him to show he can be better! That or just settle for writing a fucked up relarionship lmao but don't be lazy!

Nakyum should just leave I feel. He doesn't need a relationship in my eyes. Not until he's healed from this experience

Looking at it from my 'I love nakyum and only want the best for him' perspective (which is honestly how i feel) I want him to leave too but realistically that's not gonna happen, so I'm fine with anything as long as the actual writing and character development is good
