By the way - it's not a one shot but a full volume and completed. So if somebody is in search for some fluff...
The basic plot: The ML has animal characteristics/shapeshifting abilities. He and MC are childhood friends. But because he is "special" he has to go to a special school (it's more to keep the "monsters" in check) and they are separated. MC later transfers as the only human to that school to be reunited with the ML again. He has the dream to change the society and get more acceptance for the shapeshifters.
