I think it's kinda random too but I feel like the author is going to relate it back to the reason why lippe was chosen to go back in time and save her family so hopefully it becomes more incorporated in the story rather than a side concept. I've read too many stories where they try to add a cool spin on the story but then neglect using it throughout the story
I think her being sent back to the past is part of the grand scheme of things. Because there are many forces here that are tampering with the aether and terra, which might affect the balance of the world.
am I the only one who thinks the whale and the aether plot point in the story is hella random? like this came out of nowhere 60+ chapters later ahahah. Also i’m scared for lippe
