i think that sangwoo did love yoonbum because of koogi's reply to a readers question "did sangwoo love yoonbum? a: if you read the ending you'll know" something like that if i remember. and sangwoo was calling yoonbum's name in the hospital so.. that's what i'm assuming.

I’m not going to defend that Sangwoo loved Bum; but him being straight means that he wasn’t sexually attracted to Bum, no? Sangwoo said “I’m not gay but I still sucked you off”, and that is sexual.

In my opinion KS tells us a story about two mentally disturbed people whom faith brought up together. They both desperately needed somebody to love them in their life, and that was what was between them. Sw was straight and didn't feel sexual attraction towards Bum, but since apparently violence was his fetish it worked out; also it didn't disturb him to "love" Bum - if we are ready to widen our perception to understand that love is never perfect as in theory - it's always flawed and in this case it was obviously disturbed by his mental illness. That's why even if he wanted to care about Bum and make him happy it didn't disturb him to hit him in another minute, or, in fact, want him dead if he would be to betray him. Bum's mental disturbance was based on stalking, so, no matter the disadvantages of his love interest, he still couldn't help it but to feel drawn to Sw; as Sw no matter the violence he felt, sometimes hate, couldn't help but to desperately need Bum close, to feel loved. So we can say they did "loved" each other, but mostly in the meaning of need to be close and feel loved instead of giving love. :)

I'm pretty sure sangwoo loved bum in his own way. You can clearly see how he's always disturbed by every reaction bum gave him. Although he's a psychopath so his brains keeps playing with him. But in the end, you can clearly see how he's still clinging on to Bum because only Bum gave him the love that he's been craving for all his life. I kinda felt bad for sangwoo tbh. If he's just given the correct treatment, he wouldn't be like that. And maybe for Bum too. If both were given proper mental treatment, they'd both have had a happy life (╥﹏╥)( TДT)

I agree to this. Also, their love was more like obsession and possession. Bum is obsessed with Sw while Sw is possessive of Bum. Tho both can be another form of love. Unhealthy love that is.

When I was reading the manhwa from week to week I was believing in this as well but after I reread it, I realized Bum was the one who always kind of saved him, from the police or even from the complete breakdown. He didn't have romantic feelings for him but Bum was something for him he could rely on, his only ally. I believe he was calling him continuously because he wanted to be saved.. again, and he knew Bum will come.
