Joowon is a narcissist.
Nobody's doing okey in this manhwa tbh, haesoo is stuck in a toxic relationship with a narcissist + they are codependent on each other and I feel like Taku is reckless, he gets himself in really dangerous and risky situation.
Haesoo, tho, i feel like he realized the issues he has and doesn't want to take them into his next relationship.
He really needs healing...
I prefer Taku but then I will be team haesoo x haesoo, tbh at first it felt like Taku was just in it for the thrill of it but now feels like he likes Haesoo. But it stilk feels like both him anx joowon are into what Haesoo has to offer n not the actual person.

I like your approach. I find it interesting that we learned more from Joowon in the eyes of Haesoo than from Joowon himself. With Taku it is a bit different, since we see him more. It is difficult for me to cap... Antianon

I totally agree with what you said! Thanks for putting into words that I cannot<3
Saying Joowon is a 'narcissist' is if we see him through the eyes of Haesoo. Because most of the time we got the narration from Haesoo's pov: that Joowon thought that Haesoo will always come back to him, fueled by Haesoo's anxiety that he's lacking compared to Joowon and the way Joowon potrayed himself: as a handsome and rich man with a lot of time. Forgetting that it was Haesoo first who wanted to make Joowon's jealous in the first place. That he enjoyed the affection from jealousy, making him also a narcissist himself.
But, the 'narcissism' we see in Joowon may because his backgound as actor, that he naturally has outgoing, bright, and confident personality. Because in the end of the day, Joowon is actually the simplest out of them all. Haesoo's 'narcissism' might actually his inferiority complex. But I agree that Taku of them all showing the most narcissistic traits, but who knows if he turns to be a machiavellist, or that he's actually has spectrum of autism (since he also has prosopagnosia who's common co-exist with autism).
But what I thought the truest from your opinion is, this manhwa is less psychological than we think it is. *I clap for you*

Personally I'd say Joowon is definitely a narcissist as for Taku, yes, he might be a machialvellist but I'll still need to see more about him in the story cause definitely confuses me.
Haesoo definitely has all types of issues, they're all in need for healing in this manhwa, i just find it a bit strange that ppl would realize where Haesoo comes short and not the obviously/openly bad guy in the story does aka Joowon

So could you explain why Joowon is a narcissistic? He has selfish side but I wouldn't call him narcissist per se.
Also he didn't really care about his image when fans attacked Haesoo. He was rather rude.

I seriously doubt it was author's purpose to make Joowon a bad guy. I wouldn't call him an obvious bad guy at all.

If you re-read my comments you'll see that I hold everyone accountable...
And no I don't think they're all as bad as one another, some characters are more harmful and troublesome than others although they spice things up in the story.
Joowon is often defended in the comment section when he really shouldn't because his words and actions are loud and clear. I'd get that people could defend Taku because he's more ambiguous but not Joowon.

I'd say look at the bigger picture of what he's done and said so far in the story both from Haesoo's point view, his and yours as a reader.
You can google narcissism in psychology and try to compare it with the character if you've got the time and energy to do so...

Guys! Stories are fun and all but I realize thzt a lot of teens and young adults read yaoi so I'd just hate to see people romanticize bad behavior and toxicity, as weird as it may sound we get affected by what we read, so I'm just tryna evaluate things in a realistic way
+ I love having discussions about stuff like this, we can all learn practice stuff from them

As many said Haesoo's pov is subjective. And I would like to hear examples. Because seriously I think your comment is exaggerated a little bit. He is selfish, but imo him saying that Haesoo will always come back to him or that he can't live without him was mirroring his insecurities more than narcissism. Because we know he is definitely terrified of losing Haesoo and can't live without him on his side. It was more of him reassuring himself that Haesoo will always love him as he loves Haesoo and won't leave him.
He has many bad sides... But sorry I think searching for personal disorders in fictional stories where authors most likely don't have psychological background is pointless.

Sorry but you are acting as your interpretation was one and the only, holy true. But Joowon's character is more complicated than pinning him as a bad guy.

And to be clear I don't praise Joowon's behaviour. It was wrong many times but I think incentives were more complex than narcissism
