I think that the wife is the mother of the child and Sean is the dad. I think she did that to keep Kyle by her side. You know fake sleeping with him so that she could keep him or so that he would love her.

that kid with Kyle..is he Emily's twin?.. also i remember reading something that Sean worked as a surrogate dad so i guess he gave one of the twins to Kyle and his wife as per his "job" as a surrogate yet he kept Emily without Kyle's knowledge, but why is Kyle so cold to the other poor kid if he was from Sean whom he still seems fond of???
