you must've never read classic manga book where they introduce the main characters first?
Oh I read them alright, but the introduction section usually not as transparent or in depth as the ones in this webtoon. Usually they leave some important stuff out so the readers can still be curious when they finally read the story.
The format used in this webtoon tho I usually saw in roleplay forums which is perfect for the roleplay forum setting & usage--but not so much in webtoon/manga setting.
ah I see... you afraid that it will lack of element of surprise of the story aye? I get it. Perhaps the author wants to give the reader the insight of the story to increase reader's interest, so they will have depiction of how the story will work. some of the readers always wondering whether is it going to be sad story or not. so maybe the purpose is to create the big picture of the story thru characters introduction. I hope the author didn't spill that much and still make the story captivating. also there can't be only 3 characters only aye?

Rather than afraid, a bit disappointed is more like it. Doesn't matter if there's just 3 character intros those are 3 mains & now I know their relationships among each other, their characteristic too which means I can a little bit predict their moves/choices they're going to make/how they're gonna react to something. You know that feeling when you've known a certain type of ppl irl and when you saw a character with the same type on tv/books you can almost see how they'll behave--it's something like that. Cos besides the story, the reason I read/watch something is because I want to learn about the characters & how they're gonna behave within the story, what reasoning/push are behind their choices, etc. as the story goes. Ok, I'm getting into deep here sorry but
TLDR I'm a bit disappointed they served character intros with too much info even when the story isn't starting yet for whatever purpose/intention. That's all & it's just my preference. Not against ppl putting character intro in general.
nah it's ok... i mean you don't know me I don't know you...it's human to assume things and being vocal abt it, plus is you're not suddenly raging on me so i'm alright.
My thoughts exactly and I'm glad I'm not alone. I feel bad for thinking this way and this is the first manhua I've read where too many infos are given out. I'm not going to hold it against the author cs it's their wish and right to present the story however they like so I'll just continue to wait for updates uWu
the art is lovely but i wish the author presents the story first rather than these almost spoiler-y characters data (not that i hate spoiler but i'd rather get to know the characters through story)
