Totally! They did represent every detail when this situation hapens; the thinking the attitude, the timing, the misleading...
In fact, it actually happened to me in real life, the so called mortifying moment... it rips the whole you in tiny pieces... you don't even feel your heart for a long time (yeah, me dumb TT)
But the Director looked like it worried him a little. Is he going to realize that he might feel something too????

I literally cried a little bcoz of that secondhand embarrassment. Nana did a good job in placing the reader to the writers emotion cuz for me its feels like i was the one who did what yiyoung did. Awwww rooting for season 2
