I mean yes and no. You’re totally allowed to sleep with other people even while you’re love with someone else as long they aren’t together. It’s rather who realistically would believe given you’re purposely flaunting in front of their face you sleeping around/ dating multiple people that your the “romantic type”? A lot of the times it’s unconsciously done as a way to reinforce their own feelings of being desirable and subtly show to their crush “hey look at me” without realizing it. Yet it doesn’t make them any happier for doing so and just gives the very wrong impression that you’re unavailable or worse if it’s frequent enough that you’re emotional incapable of reciprocating anything as strong as “love”.
The situation can work out IF the crush is a person who isn’t deterred by such a personality. But how often are you going to find someone who isn’t the least bit insecure that those feelings that you’re not sharing is any stronger than among those in your promiscuous exploits who you’ve never made a relationship last? If I had the impression you are not mature enough I would either move on or internalize said feelings. That’s the actual reality because people really don’t communicate in real life as much as we like to think otherwise.The fact that none of this is experienced in fiction is what makes it so unbelievable more so than a playboy and their crush ending up together only when it’s convenient for the playboy.
That’s true but like I said a girl can only dream but welcome to reality!
This is good so far, however, @blueninja89 is right. One day, hope and pray, that a yaoi manga will come out and the seme is sleeping around, but has a crush on the uke secretly, and the uke has a crush on the seme, but living his best life. Then the seme finally tells the uke his real feelings but the uke curses him out because I how can you love somebody but sleeps around. So now the seme has to work reallly and I mean reallly hard for the uke’s love and trust.
Well that will never happen but dreams can come true!
