I don't mind the fact that Hayate likes someone else now. That's not the problem, but rather what annoys me and hits me in the face most is that he LED Kohaku on, causing her to develop feelings for him because she thought he was sincere. Which turns out, he wasn't.
And Rurijo, doesn't she like the brother? It's been a while since I've last read this and honestly I'm not going to reread it because of how frustrating it is. Like, I seriously thought Hayate was serious about Kohaku and that they would be end game.
Rurijo isn't bad but KOHAKU, poor Kohaku!! It just makes me think about how much of an asshole Hayate is, he barely knew the girl compared to the connection he had to Kohaku. It's like he ruined the loyality and faith Kohaku had in him, because he'd always use to remind her how much he loved her.
Like they had a connection you know?! They'd been together for a long time!! And for that to be ruined in mere seconds?! That's incredibly frustrating like deadass I'm about to cry.
