next, he'll go shopping and find out there's no toilet paper, because of corona. why can't he ever get a break?? T_T but guys, ed IS a grown man, y'know. don't be blaming mcqueen for everything. ed made his own choice to do porn. of COURSE there was a possibility that a multitude of people would/could find out. hellooo, the internet. this is why i never sent nakey selfies of myself to my exes... there is no privacy in this world anymore.

Agree with you there - it's not fair that Ed is blaming MQ instead of manning-up and taking responsibility for his own actions.
Yes, what happened to Ed is sad and unfair, yes, he feels depressed because his friends/work colleagues abandoned him, etc., but- that doesn't give him the right to shift blame left and right onto others. He wasn't like that in Vol1.

That said, personally I have a theory that Ed 'was made' to act Out Of Character and MQ was quite artificially turned into a somewhat of a villain by the author to create big drama/conflict (almost Santa Barbara-style) in Vol2 - which is sad.
Vol1 was sweet and perfect with one villain (Chang) in the picture (and Vol 2 had to address that issue), however author was forced? or decided on her own? to create a mess with Vol2 by completely disregarding the fact that she turned Ed's character from a level-headed and rational security guard into an irrational and self-centered...idiot.

When reading Vol2 I do my best to ignore all the errors relating to Out Of Character and try to admire artist's (Jaxx) artwork.
Despite the plot line loosing quality the art is still amazing and I hope very much that Jaxx will illustrate another comic with a great story line. <3

Ed didn’t blame MQ. He explained in this chapter WHY he doesn’t blame or resent him.

    BetterLeftUnknown,
The heavy conversation between Ed and MQ happens in ch 50, so if you're reading English translations only- you haven't missed anything yet. :)

Back at the end of February/beginning of March I had summarized/translated ch45-53 for some of the readers at this site.
If you have nothing against spoilers, you can search for my answers in this link, which holds my summaries- http://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/5277610/.
