I'm assuming it is the guards blood.
rather than yelling "Run!" or "My Lady, RUN!".
it was "...my lady, Run!".
comes across as a strugle to say = injured?
That and it's unlikely your only guard would tell you to run away without protection unless there was no other way.
( i suppose it's also possible the blood is an opponents, but other threats/people will keep the guard occupied)
I mean the guards bare hand is holding a sharp sword that can cut a body in half with out much force . So I'm assuming it's the guards blood.
