I agree with you, but I also kinda understand why they do that. This Manhwa, without the funny scenes, would be super intense at some points. I think they give it to us as a breather before they throw more corrupted, heartbreaking, and heavy scenes at us. Cause I got a leaving shit is going to hit the fan the more we dive into this and those funny scenes are gonna be are only relief. So part of me, mostly the masochist side is like "Yeah! Bring the pain." And the other side is like, "Keep it cute and happy my little heart can't take the heaviness."
This manhwa will be better if they exclude the funny scene, so that the suspance can be retain. For ex like when the fat woman slap shuli, if they didnt put that chibi slap stick this manhwa can potentially be the next villain saviour or the remarried empress . ^^
