there's probably another backstory for his thinking because there's no way one would strongly dislike something without a reason- Welp I can't assume anything rn but I can say that he isn't fond of commoners + summoners, so I'm just going to see how the plot unfolds while I'm in this rollercoaster ride

Yeah, it's a bullshit reason. If a divine beast can join demons aka summoner make them harm innocent, then a holy knight can lose his way and do the same. Like, what the f does he mean he can't trust holy beasts? It's like saying you hate dogs because they may one day bite you even when you treated them well...
I don't mind if it's his personal opinion, if he had some trauma or whatever, but don't try to half assedly justify it...
