That doesn't make any sense at all. So if someone bullies a friend, you can't get mad or want revenge on their behalf? What about sexual assult or rape victims like the ones that testified against Harvey Weinstein? We might not personally know them, but that doesn't mean we can't emphasize them and condemn the abuser. In fact, speaking out against things that are bad or rude is something that should be promoted. I understand that it's pretty harsh to compare a rude comment to something like rape, but that in no way invalidates another poster's comment in pointing out your rudeness.
