Smh your thought process is beyond simple. Do not discount the emotional roller coaster shin is going through to protect Wolfgang in spite of his feelings. Hes not ignoring him at all. Hes bending over backwards to do what he can even though he cannot come to terms with Wolfgang's feelings. He has all sorts of hangups regarding their relationship that even if they weren't in a quasi- coup d'etat he still would not be easily able to have a romantic relationship with the king. Though Shin does indeed love him, he ultimately cannot trust Wolfgang's feelings bc he feels like a spoil of war on top of being his advisor which is supposed to be an objective and professional relationship on top of being a man who cannot provide the kingdom heirs on top of being the one responsible for turning him into a king. He feels responsible for creating the best version of Wolfgang as a king which further interferes with his personal feelings. If you recall from season 1 he was thoroughly and completely clear with Wolfgang when he told him "I am yours". Now as an adult he cannot be so honest with himself under the complexity of his emotions. I dont accept your denial of shins feelings. He is quite literally an emotional mess. Further more he is hyper analytical and prone to worry which simply amplifies his state of uneasiness. I love shin, he is a complex character full of tumbling emotions that he tries tirelessly to contain and it will take more than 2 seasons to get to their happy ending.
