Is it just me or I feel really annoyed about Adelaide leaving Felix all alone just to make...

She just needs *everyone* to know. Not just the duke. They were playing lovers quite well but women wer still after him thinking that he didn't love Adele. She don't wanna go thru another Susan or another maid. She wants every woman to know their place. Therefore, she needs the duke to chase after her.

if she would have known about felix background I can see this reaction. But she doesn't know about any of that. & to avoid all the crap susan & anna pulled, every woman in the capital needs to know their place. She explained it very clearly with yulia.

Thats why she did those things, it is annoying but its Felix fault though... she should've told Adele what she really felt, he could've prevent Adele from leaving, if only he opened up to her.

If you have to manipulate him and manipulate those around him your childish ass doesn't need to be in a marriage..so every time you disagree you're going to ruin away until you get what you want

any other time, I would be right there with you. but in this instance where Adele doesn't know where he stands w/ Felix, Felix finally coming to terms with feeling romantic love after the horrible examples & the society they live in being ruled by outward appearances, class status & whatnot. (Like Susan really pushed for having a higher position so that she could marry Felix among other reasons instead & people would have accepted it because no one would outrank her). There needs to be some type of public scene. That's just my opinion though!
