If Lucas is really coming back on the next chapter there's a high chance of us not getting this scene. During some celebration Claude made a copy of himself and made it attend it. Athy saw that and decided to go to the castle to visit her maid cos she thought Claude wasn't there but it was actually a trap made by him.
Yes, i really like this part the most, but then again he never really did like Jennette, thats why he keep wondering why those troubled expression Athy wore whenever they met always bothered him. In the novel, jennette is never too close to Claude (if i rmmber it correctly).

I don't see any reason to say spoiler, clearly this using the direction the webtoon went in. Honestly all bets are off at this point. I'm really disappointed in this chapter, it meant a lot more in the web novel, this was supremely lack luster.

Well.. It just as a precaution. If the scene is cut and not shown in the manhwa. Then that's fine since its a scene from the novel.
Since the manhwa itself cuts lot of scene, we can't be sure if this exact scene will be cut or not. Honestly this scene is good and I will be extremely happy if its in the manhwa. But, let just see how it goes.

Me too! The make-up scene between our bestest daughter-dad duo is my fave in the novel. But then again if the manhwa author made Jennette likable(not like the novel) then i guess we are bound to get suprised alot in next chaps(for us, reader of the novel) i just really hope when Claude and Athy making up later, it would be as meaningful as how the novel did.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
And i think we dont get to know Claude's thoughts all those days when Athy was gone.
I'm kinda disappointed that we're not getting the scene where Claude threatens to kill 1000 people every day and draws a magic circle that would give him injuries if Athy tried to escape. That scene showcases how desperate he was to keep Athy by his side. Even without memories in the novel after this scene he keeps athy by his side. He wonders if he doesn't recover his memories Athy would leave him again.
