in the original story, Beatrice and Raeliana had their souls in their own bodies. and then...
1:
back in the modern world/earth, the mc dies and her soul makes it's way to Beatrice but something goes wrong and her soul gets transported to Raeliana's body instead?
2:
the story is repeating so after the original story ends (Beatrice and Raeliana from the og story are both dead), their souls are supposed to go back to their original bodies but this doesn't happen. the soul of the og Raeliana steals Beatrice's body. Because of this, the soul of og Beatrice has no choice but to go to Raeliana's body?? and thus the story repeats, but in a new manner with people retaining memories of their past lives? (Beatrice and Raeliana)
wasn't really sure which one you meant. either that or Beatrice's soul was transported to earth then when she died on earth, she tried traveling back to her og body but Raeliana had already taken it so beatrice had to go to Raeliana's body?

I heard about this theory from a commenter on Instagram and I just thought it made so much sense!
EDITED-- Basically, Raeliana’s soul is in Beatrice's body and Beatrice’s soul is in Raeliana's body (vice versa thing). This makes sense when the ML Raeliana found out that the original Raeliana had relations/connections with dark magic because the original would find out the she dies and so she wanted to change her fate by switching souls. When the main lead died, her soul was to go to Beatrice but the original Raeliana took it already and so the ML was pushed into Rae’s body (⊙…⊙ ).
