I think it just wasnt the direction the author intend to take. Or else we would have another heavy family conflict with dramatic resolves series. The author aimed for something simple and heartwarming and not too draggy.
And about the wishing for lewd things, it was their first date and they still get to know eo so.. hhh
I feel like this whole manga's potential has been wasted: since the beginning there was an interesting premise concerning Kei's situation at home that Tsukasa could have helped him with it but it was all thrown away just for smut's sake. I kinda feel disappointed, I expected more from this story :////
