Mangago started mainly as a yaoi manga site, so a lot of the people reading on Mangago like yaoi. I’m sure you have been on Mangago long enough to have realized that most of the manga are romance genre. That doesn’t mean those people don’t read anything that’s not yaoi, it just means that that’s what they rather read. Like you rather enjoy a manhua not for the relationships but for the evolving storylines. Other just are just more interesting in the romance and evolving relationships.
There are a million good stories out there but you can’t call it sad when some don’t like them based on their preferences. For example take Shakespeare, his stories are hailed as genius in the literature world but not every reader on earth wants to read his plays, although they are good they’re not to the everyone’s taste. I love horror genres and they’re a loads of good horror stories out there but I wouldn’t call it sad if others choose not to read them too cause they contain aspects they don’t find apealing. Calling someone’s preferences sad based on your own ideals is rude and disrespectful!
Its more like if you would say that you only eat seafood and i would call it sad...which i would. Im not saying you have to like every author, what im saying is, that i think everyone should give a chance stories that are out of their preference, not to limit yourself to one specific side. I would say the same to someone only reading straight manga/manhwa, because there are some amazing stories with LGBT couples. I don't think we will agree on that, so let's just agree to disagree
And I for sure would read it if I were in the mood for it. But I’m in a romance kinda mood and it looked like a shounen Ai so I asked. At some point in the past I was in a tragedy kind of mood and only read tragedies. If it has any kind of romance in it tell me and I’ll read it. If not I’m gonna pass for now cause I’m in a romance kind of mood
So before I read this I must know: is this Shounen Ai?
