This is normal in yaoi apparently. Somehow it's so extremely bad to update a manga that hasn't been updated in over a month just because the last uploader hasn't said anything. Imo, is the last uploader didn't upload, they'll have to blame themselves if they did the work but never shared it. Somebody else is inevitably gonna do it.
That's exactly what I'm trying to understand. Like, nobody has the right to claim themselves as an "official translator" or a "group that's responsible for this webcomic". NOBODY. Each and every one of them is doing it illegally and is in no place to shame others.
Even I could go and make some screenshots from korean websites, translate the text and insert it using some kind of editing program. And to be honest, I wouldn't give 2 shits about people's complaints, because something like "official translator" doesn't exist. If you are too slow, dont go crying to others that they didn't wait for your holy translation and were happy when someone else uploaded theirs.
And what something like "someone wasted their time" even means? It's not their job, they didn't have to do it, and didn't have to put their precious time into it. The attitude in the comments section is pathetic and helps me remember why I try to never read or write any comments.
i wholeheartedly agree. whoever translate it faster or better can just upload it, if you dont like hasty and messier translations just wait for one that is clean or smth. this culture made a lotta manga "stuck" in certain chapters with no updates because the "original" translators just gave up or had something come up in their lives, they dont even inform others, if theyre that "official" they should take some time out to inform people that theyll be on hiatus from uploading and let someone take the wheel or some shit lol.
Translators tend to give up when someone waste their time. If it worked like you told we would get nothing. Someone would just upload 1 chapter then someone other would start so the original would gave up. I actually saw this happen a lot of times. No one like wasting hours for nothing. And they don't need to share they want to. So don't make them want to stop. Quality translation is a hard job. I really hate all those entitled children commentning here.
"I really hate all those entitled children commentning here"
Define "entitled children", cause if you mean "anybody I don't agree with", then other people could call you the same.
I think that the author of the comic would laugh very hard if they read the comments here. Then maybe they would sue anybody translating this, scold everybody reading it and try to close the page. Talking about all the translation process as if someone did have any right to do it is very ridiculous.
Not that I am not grateful, I really appreciate anybody who brings to me the comics I can't read otherwise, but I would never ask for more, citicize them or complain in any way, they decided to do it in their own time, I can't ask for fastest updates, say that the quality is bad ir anything else.
I will only say thank you. To anybody.
I don't get it, so the translator who was translating this has some kind of exclusivity? Did they get the author's permission to be the only ones who could do it?
If they are still workong on it and their translation is better, just swap it later. I think Didi's sin is exactly the same sin as anybody else translating comics and uploading them here, the only one who can complain is the author.
Well, the other people updating this can think that it was a bit unpolite, but I think they've hoy the same right to upload it.
Just my opinion.
