I've been reading yaoi for years and there's a ton worse than this manga however, having sex with someone without their permission IS rape. Nothing would change that fact

Agreed, but I feel the artist has their ways of picturing what is actually rape and what is not. At least it's just my perception that, I feel like she would have expressed differently if it was violation. But that's just my pov

You know what? I've been thinking about it, and you guys are right. If that happened to me, it would definitely feel like rape. It's just like you said, "ruining the fantasy" cause yaoi is for "rotten women" that's what we're called after all. So it's just that really pisses me off ppl being like "this is romantisizing rape" when clearly it's just the same as reading a fanfiction or the weirdest)/dummest sex scene.

What I'm trying to say is that.. I've been reading yaoi since a long time, and I know there are some basic patterns repeated in the plots. But just as you stated, even if it's typical or "normal" it still should be pictured as rape, and yeah, I guess you're right.

Still is not fair saying "if you don't find this is rape, you probably are fine with machism" or sth, which is so false, cause I'm into porn and I don't support stereotypical shit about women.

Where I'm trying to get here is that I finally understood what you ppl are calling it rape, since it's true! But don't go saying it romanticizes it cause that's crap, at least that's my opinion.

Exactly! I think it kinda took me long to understand it is rape, probably because since i see it normal in this type of shows I was like "this doesn't feel like rape at all". But technically, it just is xd

The thing is what u said, if u're used to this kind of thing or u read it at an "appropriate" age, it's not about romantisizing it. Idk of I'm making any sense xd, English is not my first language and it's really though to try to make a point on a conversation when I can't express myself properly. But thanks for understanding me :)
