its a flashback to the kiss from chapt 1 but its not that clear

So he saw his brother talking the that lady (not knowing that she was his lover from the past when she got old) and thought they were on a date and kissed him to show her that he was gay i guess. But I dont think they're gay. The flashback in the last chapter was supposed to explain it better but its confusing lol
