On the subject of romance.

I know sometimes in comic adaptions of a novel, writers and artists take artistic liberty to change elements of the story/characters. I wonder if they will choose to do so here? All the readers seem to dislike the idea of romance (and I do too since it usually ruins the adventuring and action aspect of comics... like i came here for a hero’s journey not a slice of life romcom). For anyone who has read the novel: how are the stories matching up? Is it a 1:1 recreation or have there been some tweaks already?

Hmmm this chapter was kinda better in the novel
It showed art's inability to properly comfort someone
He just stayed silent though he said all that in his mind

Romance wise I hope they work more one the flaws of tess
Cuz it wasn't that she was a damsel in distress that ticked people off
It was her chasing trouble attitude
Ugh like she is forced to do stupid decision for the plot to move on which ppl can't stand
