@ everyone. YES you can read this and enjoy it. It’s dark and extremely unhealthy and honestly when are authors gonna stop using r*pe as a plot point but the point is to not romanticize it. As long as you, the reader, understand that what’s happening in this story is indeed NOT romantic. The main character(s) are potentially developing Stockholm syndrome/Lima syndrome, which masks itself as romanticism, but is aggressively dangerous and toxic. YES you can still enjoy this story. Just don’t call it cute. Don’t call it romantic. Don’t let the characters toxic relationship become even more of a normalized gay trope.
Oh the CONTROL FREAKS and Kill Joy are coming back again for the thousand time... Lmao.
Shaming or moralizing readers while reading also the same story. "They can read and like but not romanticize it..." Lol! Who paid you or ask you to remind constantly what others should do?
------> No one. Just your big ego.
Not romanticize a YAOI that is supposed to depict BOYS LOVE?
Stockholm syndrom, Lima what...?
Miss-I-know-better-than-you, what if it's Stockholm syndrom? What will you do then?
Keep bitching again for a century?
Don't be an asshole and just let others enjoy their Yaoi moments. You're on the same boat.
Like? Enjoy.
Don't like? Bye.
Principe base of Yaoi BL.
Is this too hard for you to understand?
Because as always, there are people like you who came to shame others about what they're liking in Yaoi, maybe?
Can you understood the difference between criticize a work and shaming others, and why we can't let pass this kind of post?
If you have eyes you should've noticed that this comment section has been for the most toxic and trolled by Anons and just since some days ago it has been peaceful, but there again the CONTROL FREAKS are back...
How saying the bar is low equals shaming people? Oh so now we shouldn't use words like rape or abuse and pretend Seungho is innocent cinamin roll because we can hurt somebody's feelings?
It's ridiculous how people idealise Seungho but hate on Inhun non stop. It's a shame author created Inhun's character because readers can hide behind him... So their ML looks a little bit better.
Telling to people how they can like Seungho or worship the MCs is shaming people, or do I need to speak in another language to you?
Now you're bringing In Hun into the discussion... :D Man, you seem to have an endless disastisfaction with this manhwa. We're already at chap39 raw and chp35 translated, if you can't enjoy this story no matter what, just drop it for fuck sake. I don't know why you and your friends keep torturing yourself and others with your endless complain.
No one is shaming anyone. But the fact is that y*oi as a genre in general tends to promote unhealthy relationships between lgbtq+ people. This is mostly a cultural difference, though you will find homophobia in many types of media whether it comes from Easter countries or western countries. Y*oi in general tends to conform to certain tropes that are not representative of or promoting healthy gay relationships.
As a person who has read bl for most of my life, it’s easy to ignore the bad things and focus on the story, but it’s also just as easy to understand and learn why y*oi as a genre needs to change. All of y’all know harada. Their art bomb. They know how to make a short and interesting plot. But their topics? Do I need to further explain? That’s just one y*oi author. A popular one at that. If you happen to enjoy their works or similar works, that’s fine. Some people will say it is or isn’t, but the fact that they are popular works shows how many people are consuming it. How many people might be fetishizing those topics. Which is dangerous. There is a difference between romanticizing/fetishizing those topics and reading them while understanding that they are, well, dangerous. That DOES NOT mean you can’t enjoy it.
I’m not reading this particular webtoon to sit in the comment section to preach and judge and condemn its readers. I’m reading it because I, personally, like to read a dark story occasionally. There does become a point where the plot becomes less relevant to the relationship and it gets boring, R*pe as a plot point is boring and tiring. But the characters are interesting and it’s what makes the story interesting. But that is me, personally. I’ve been around the block lmao.
I’ve been exposed to this genre for YEARS. I’m talking some years. Like, yaoihavenreborn years. When I was younger I didn’t understand how it could be dangerous to real life people, promoting gay relationship tropes often seen in y*oi. But being around a lgbtq+ community has helped me understand its okay to read dark stories, as long as the person reading understands what is healthy and what is not.
No one is shaming anyone? REALLY?
Do you really speak out of knowledge or you just assume the situation, like our friend Asa here?
Savoure these tirades of the people you defend:
"You're sick to ship Seungho with Nakyum", "You're sick to like Seungho...", "13 years old Fujoshis", "you're crazy to get off on POTN, there's rape", "stop to fap to rape..." etc, these are amongst the ones I recall, but there are many comments stating these.
How are these not shaming people?
Maybe they meant no-one in this post?
So now remember everyone, you are forbidden to round things or make some assumptions after reading only a part of the comment section. Generalisation is the biggest sin. You have to read all of the comments if you didn't... you are liar and ignorant. You have to be sorry for every person in the past who offended our friend here.
skskssk the bar is so low for some of y’all. Omg he ruffled his hair and didn’t rape him this chapter fucking couple goals
