i don't hate jenette either ^^;; i guess ppl are just sad that claude forgot athy and it's a long arc so more screen time of jenette are making readers antsy...
I personally can forgive both characters, but Jeannette's situation is vastly different than the princes. She's making mistakes in the present, while the princes, are in the past/technically never happened.
They both seem like genuine cinnamon rolls to me.
i swear, Janette has, like 5 extremist die-hard stans that goes around attacking people for anything they say that is not praise and worship to their ol' lord and savior, Janette.
tbh, my feelings towards her is mostly pity not hate but i don't see the need to defend her all day because:
1) her personality is as BORING as a rock.
2) she didn't feel the need to defend her sister when she was sentenced to death ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

I can see that she's boring, indecisive and scare but that's bc she's still a kid. She ain't stanning material but it saddens me to see ppl calling her trash and stuffs when the manhwa doesn't show anything abt her doing bad things to our Athy. Yes, rn, what Jen doing seems like it's going to lead to problems but still she doesn't look like she have anything to hurt Athy. But the prince, man he just did many horrible things to her that I still can't bring myself to like his character. He could change anytime when that korean girl transmigrat and I don't want the past to repear itself. Our poor Arista had it enough T^T

I've prob commented this on the other manga but ppl here he so forgiving a rapist-killer-jerk of a prince just bc he have no idea abt wht arista experienced. But ya'll be hating on poor Jenette in I Suddenly become a Princess even thos she's a naive kid who just want family. Hypocrites
