Wow. You added a spoiler and got most of it wrong.
1.) He did have 3 wives. But in the end all three of them were ou of the picture. One died, one got arrested and one filed for divorce. Pauliana were on good terms with them and made them realize that marriage isn't the only thing that women are supposed to do. They cherish her quite well too.
2.) Pauliana didn't marry anyone except Luxor. She was only engaged but found out the guy was scum so I guess you can imagine what happens to him in the end. They had their happy ending and they have a son together.
The first child was a princess. The second child (with Pauliana) was a prince.
The first child became the heir to the throne. She was much like a leader. Beautiful, shrewd and extremely intelligent. Luxor/Lucius had to change the laws so that a woman could inherit his throne. Another feminist move. Love it.
His child with Pauliana chose not to inherit the throne but instead protect the new heir, the princess. He's really strong and adept with the sword, even Sir Aino was awed by him. Considering both his parents weren't that well off in combat, it actually came as a surprise
Ohh...thanks a lot. Very appreciate it explaination. The spoiler helps me to prepared my heart even though the thing not going the way I want. Hahaha... But it's look like this manhwa had long journey. I do not know but my heart hurt when I heard this. But it's alright. Means, he loves his children & there is still happy ending there. Unfortunately the first empress die. If not, Paulina will be the 2nd wife that will stay with Lucius. Hahaha...so it will break my heart if that happen. So glad that story become like that. Did Lucius had affection feeling with 1st empress or he did that to get a heir?
No, he only loved Pauliana.
In fact, I am not entirely sure if the first child is really his. The namuwiki spoilers mentioned a prince impregnated her. Call me crazy, but Luxor was no longer a prince when he married her. He was the emperor. So this is a blank spot to me too. I haven't read the actual novel.
Also, Luxor/Lucius and Pauliana's child didn't inherit the royal surname, he used his mother's surname instead. Winter. His name is Jared Winter
Ohh...it's okay. Thank you very much. But...it is just my thinking. If what you said is true the princess is not his so what purpose he become the emperor and at the end his throne & wealth become others? But we will know it later. It's okay. But I do think that the mahnwa/novel had their purpose, maybe to show off the feminism ideology like what u said before.
It's obviously, the prince take the surname of his mother(Paulina) because most of child that grew up by his mother will take his mother surname. Maybe It happens when Paulina flew away from the country and the child grew up without father. I don't know. Furthermore, the surname can be change but some child do not want change when they independence and adult. Becoz they can thinking and appreciate the their identity & origin.
The spoiler said lucius has 3 wives and had children with the first wife and Pauliana married a man which broke her heart. The fact that Lucius doesn't marry pauliana is okay at first but 3 wives? And he still loves Pauliana? Then why cant he marry her instead? I think this manga will break my heart. Maybe I should stop reading it. I was happy thinking it will become the first manga in which the king marries the knight. But i guess I was wrong.
