What a shitty story then... at least, for me.
7 years??!!! I would have liked the storyline if it was like a year or two. 7 is too much. But I am glad she doesn't end up with her husband though.

I think the execution of the story is more important. It might sound terrible on paper but this is only a summary. Authors can be pretty damn good at writing drama.
I've read some comments from readers that read the novel and a lot of them did said it was torture reading this.

So MC stays with her husband for 7 years. But a bunch of stuff happens. She is still constantly labeled a white and a cheater but different people. However she does end up getting divorced. YAY! But not before her husband suddenly confesses to her and says that he actually always lived her but her rep was so bad that he hid it. She rejects him. Thank GoD and ends up marrying her BFF. Her now EX ends up getting engaged to some other chick who straight out tells him to make the other girl leave. He refused and even went to MC to ask for advice. And she just doesn't care. So he ends up breaking the engagement only for the "mistress" who turned out to be more like a little sister to the guy leaves to some far away land. MC gets kidnapped and locked in an attic and more rumors go around about her running away from her BFF with some other guy. She says he won't believe it. But her capturer says he might not but others will. Her BFF turns out to be a prince who pretended to be a barons son. And saves her. His friends don't like her and talk a lot of shit about her. But she pours wine on them and just says in a polite way to go fuck themselves. Her BFF is super disappointed with his friends. Her EX is also trying to clear her name but ends up accusing her of cheating again when she ends up with the prince even though he wasn't even in the country for 7 years....all in all it was a complicated relationship.
