Yeah but Muzan can divide his cells. Who's to say there aren't other demons who can do that as well?
OK OK BUT WHAT IF this entire time we thought Muzan was the bad guy (I mean, duh, of course he is), but the REAL villian is Tamayo. What if this entire time she's been controlling everything behind the scenes. She's puppeteering the demon slayer Corp to get rid of Muzan, her biggest enemy, while he's trying to find a way to make demons survive in sunlight, but now that SHE has that in her grasp, of course she doesn't need him anymore. Idk it's a nice theory, but we'll have to wait and see
