Have you read “Apotheosis“? It’s quite popular so you might’ve but it fits the criteria that you’re looking for. Plus it’s long as fuck (if you enjoy binge reading) but I’ve been waiting on updates per chapter since about 200 chapters into it, so I can guarantee that it’s good and should be able to keep you interested in it.
~~~
There’s also “Chronicles of Heavenly Demon” which is one of my favourites.
~~~
Another one of my favourites is “Skeleton Soldier Couldn’t Protect the Dungeon”. Although it isn’t necessarily martial arts and cultivating, there’s a good amount of fighting and gradually getting stronger. Plus it’s really interesting and it doesn’t feel like you’re reading another version of multiple other stories that’re out there.
~~~
“Peerless Dad” is a good one too. So is “Spirit Blade Mountain”. Both are focused on martial arts.
~~~
Oh, also, with Apotheosis, I suggest that you give it a bit of time to get things going since it’s a bit slow progressing from the start. At least from what I remember. It isn’t too bad though.
The Scholar's Reincarnation manga
Martial Peak
Tales of Demons and Gods
Gaikotsu Kishi-sama Tadaima Isekai e o Dekake-chuu (not realy martial arts but so damn good)
Versatile Mage (once more not really martia art and cultivation but so damn good)
Martial God
Strongest Abandoned
Don's Adventure in Another World
Solo Leveling
God of Martial Arts
Wu Dong Qian Kun
Nozomanu Fushi no Boukensha
Virtual World: Close Combat
HEre are a few, a bit of a mix, but I like them
so true, I love that series, to bad there are not so many chapters yet. Have you read Saihate no Paladin, so fucking good, and the emotional rollercoaster it is. I CRIED MY EYES OUT; EVEN when I just heard my friend read it I started to cry. Just because I remembered it all....its a must-read, not martial arts though.
On that note, if anyone can any isekis like mangas, colors or not, fantasy with an mc trying to get stronger. Please give recommendations.
Ahh! Yess, I’m reading that currently. And I think I cried at the one point where he thought everyone died and was apologizing for his current self and his past life self. Or that’s how I think it went? Lol. The updates are so far in between and I read so much on a daily that I can’t remember the smaller details.
Also if you’re looking for isekai and some badass mc that’s strong or gets stronger, I have maaannnnyyy recommendations. Although there’s a few that’re my favorite that have op mcs and are isekai, but they’re kinda fucked up lol. Let me know if you don’t mind that stuff and would like to know them.
Oh boy. You are in for a ride then.
So, the kinda fucked up ones are:
Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi - it’s not isekai but the guy gets strong and it’s dope asf.
—
Fukushuu wo Koinegau Saikyou Yuusha wa, Yami no Chikara de Senmetsu Musou suru - it’s quite a long title, ik, and it’s quite fucked up yet it’s another one that I absolutely love. Mc gets becomes hella op too.
—
Nidome no Yuusha wa Fukushuu no Michi wo Warai Ayumu - it’s good too, involves isekai. Personally though, you may want to wait a while before it has more chapters available, or you can read it if you don’t forget the details over time because the updates are very, very far in between.
—
Goblin Slayer Side Story: Year One - if you haven’t watched the anime or read the other goblin slayer manga that’s out there, I’d highly recommend it. Although him getting stronger is currently at a slower progression rate, the fight scenes are (idk if it’ll show the emoji but they’re good lol)
—
Now for ones that aren’t as messed up (some even wholesome asf) that involve isekai and/or the mc getting stronger:
- Salaryman ga Isekai ni Ittara Shitennou ni Natta Hanashi - is quite humorous honestly, involves isekai.
- Tensei Kizoku no Isekai Boukenroku: Jichou wo Shiranai Kamigami no Shito - I mean, the title has isekai in it so,,, lol. Mc is a bit too op which adds some humor w/ his occasional cluelessness towards what’s considered “normal”
- Sekai Saikyou no Assassin, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru - isekai as said in title, mc gets progressively stronger.
- The Eminence in Shadow - isekai, honestly even though there’s a good amount of fighting and the story involves the mc being strong, there’s a lot of humour in it that’s not based on pure cluelessness or relationship stuff (which can get annoying) so it’s pretty good and funny
- FFF Class Trash Hero- is isekai, and honestly, it’s just beautiful lol. If you get annoyed by those isekai w/ mcs that want to save the world and be w/ the girl and that cheesy annoying stuff (which I do), I’d recommend this.
- So I’m a Spider, So What? - I’m not religious whatsoever but I pray that you’ve read this or choose to. It’s isekai and mc gets stronger.
- The Beginning After The End - it’s isekai, mc gradually gets stronger too.
- Exterminator - isekai, and is good too.
- Ore no Ie ga Maryoku Spot Datta Ken: Sun de Iru Dake de Sekai Saikyou - isekai, is more lighthearted too and comedic. Mc is uh, a bit too strong lol.
- Re:Monster - I mean, if you read isekai and haven’t read this, then that’s a bit surprising (it’s quite popular) but it’s pretty good. Mc progressively gets stronger.
- Kamitachi ni Hirowareta Otoko - isekai and pleasant to read.
- Yondome wa Iyana Shi Zokusei Majutsushi - isekai, beginning is fucked up and kinda sad but it’s good.
- Survival Story of a Sword King in a Fantasy World - um, title kinda explains the underlying plot haha. I enjoy it though.
- Rougo ni Sonaete Isekai de 8-manmai no Kinka wo Tamemasu - is isekai, but mc can travel between both her original world and new one. Isn’t that focused on physical fighting abilities though which idk if you care for or not when looking for manga to read.
- Tensei Ouji wa Daraketai - isekai
- Isekai desu ga Mamono Saibai shiteimasu - isekai
- Tensei Shitara Dragon no Tamago Datta: Saikyou Igai Mezasa Nee - isekai w/ a bit of a twist.
- BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense - is vr and mc gets stronger. It’s also not like a character playing a game through a screen at a desk or that they’re still physically attached to the real world, therefore it doesn’t make the vr feel too fake. I personally don’t get the idea of a person playing a computer game but the story is them as the characters which practically have a life of their own which... isn’t really possible...? So I can’t get into those.
- Murabito desu ga Nani ka? - a bit of isekai, mc is supposed to stay weak but we know that ain’t finna happen.
~~
ok I’m done.. told you you’d be in for a ride... it’s just a tiny... tiny list.
Fair warning though, pay attention to some of the update schedules on these. I’ve lost my self control when it comes to not reading manga that hasn’t been updated in months on end, so some may have a bit of a chaotic update schedule. Hope you enjoy some of them though. Have fun :))))
OMG! THANKS; haven't read most of them, and will check like almost all of them out. I'm so happy!!! LIKE SO MANY SO MUCH! I don't pay attention to the updte rate either, mostly I look and see if they sound good have at lea 30 omething chapter i read then I cry alone when im done in like 3 hours or less that i'm alredy done and there arent any more chapters. ヾ(☆▽☆)
Kinda hoping for more. Also Anyone who can recommend me martial arts story like this?
