''I too was a bit confused on why Seungho would allow Nakyum to stay in the room and listen to such a private discussion.''
He's not the one to shy away. Dipped thoroughly into the Styx of politics via family & its education plus personal history, he seemingly knows about ''sensible information'' and what can be done with it. Also, look closely at the scenes - there's a table with refreshments (between the brothers) where there used to be Seungho's letter/title?/investment? - the one I suspect is being unexpectedly given to the younger Yoon, after he'd already left the household premises. So I think this was a bothersome, maybe bitter request to which, in the end, Seungho complied - I'm tieing this with the letter he'd burned, earlier that day.
And. The fact that Na-kyum is still in the room tells me Seungho is, once again, ''not done yet''. Although this time I think it's going to end with the 2 of them sleeping in the masters chambers from thereon. There are many avenues to be explored (many psychological, S.'s guilt, pining included, N.'s curious interest, THE STARTED PAINTING), that are going to be put on hold because of what little brother stirred inside, but I doubt Seungho is going to let Na-kyum slip away this night. Sadly, he may be a tad more snappy... as if he needed more spark to his fuel, gah.
I think I am a bit afraid of Seungho's mood after talking to his brother. I'm not sure I want Nakyum around him. I think Seungho is at one stage where he craves Nakyum company, he seems to want him close even if he doesn't intend to have sex but he is also still pretty much the dangerous unstable master who is not used to any kind of intimate relationship and I'm not sure how the author would create 'bond' moments for these two.... the expectation is that Seungho would be really impatient ( and Nakyum after all is his main source of grievance with his 'rejection' ). Fingers crossed that instead of having Seungho snapping at Nakyum, there is some kind of development that kick start another kind of dynamic between them... Thanks for your reply by the way.
Ah, actually I didn't even noticed the keyboard had added the accent. I think both forms are correct but almost nobody uses the " anymore. I meant to type naive but the keyboard autocorrected with the archaic form. It seems naive is after all originated from a French word so must be why there is also a form with the accent. :)
:) Good to read your thoughts too.
I think it probable for Na-kyum to meekly press for some clarification, which could open some pathways for their relationship to deepen and become more complex. But who knows, with this awesome author? I'd think it a rookie mistake for the story to simply steer towards a sex scene right now, because it would drown all the potential of showing the readers some new facets of a minimum of 2 characters - Na-kyum and Seungho -, maybe even 3 - the manservant. Also, the Seungho portreyed so far isn't a mindless ''rabbit'', he's got depth. Oh, but there could be a quiet, sour night of shared ba-dum-ed sleeping or the same minus the quiet part should Na-kyum blast about the replenishing medicine. That could summon some itch to punish or misplace blame.
PS: don't know why, but this younger Yoon coming by, the exchange of letters - makes me anticipate an exile of Seungho and some breather for Na-kyum, a sort of distance or shift in power between them that is beyond either. Also, I think Seungho was left behind also as guarantee by his father, a ''first-born deposit'' to appease the king's anger...
I know what you mean. I think that if there is anyone who can change Seungho mood from bad to at least calm would be Nakyum.... we saw the transformation Seungho can have with a simple touch or signal from Nakyum that is not resistance, like the scene in the patio in front of Inhun just after NK run away. The look in Seungho's face when NK held his hand and brought him back to the ground from his rage. It was like taming a tiger who was about to attack the teacher. So, yes, let's hope the author uses this for a change of dynamic between them.
I'm so afraid of this new character... I really hope it's not a new love interest. It would totally change the story for me. It's interesting your idea that may lead to a temporary separation between Seungho and Nakyum. I think I can see clearly Seungho development, he has fallen in love and craves Nakyum company but doesn't get what the feeling is besides having sex... I am very curious to see Nakyum's development.
Tomorrow we get to see if our hopes for a bonding time was right! See you after the raws :)
Mumblings about raw chapter ( and so it has spoilers).
- Gotta laugh at Seungho's priorities. His brother travelled all the way to visit him and is outside his door demanding to see him and Seungho just goes on eating up Nakyum's dick as if he was finishing eating his dessert and can't be interrupted.
- I too was a bit confused on why Seungho would allow Nakyum to stay in the room and listen to such a private discussion. Seungho and Nakyum dynamic is getting a bit more intimate and I don't mean only the sex. Seungho must be smart enough to know that Nakyum is not exactly a safe person for him because he is a bit of a puppet for Inhun but also Seungho keep breaking 'protocol' with his lowborn, like having him using his quarters for rest so I don't know if Seungho is really losing sense of danger and 'propriety' because Nakyum or if in this case was just because he couldn't get Nakyum out of there because the brother was barging in Seungho didn't want him to know he was with a lowborn. This would explain why he had to cover Nakyum's face too.
- The brother is a cutie. He looks like a love child between Nakyum and Seungho. The family sure has good genes.
- I guess everyone is curious about Seungho's dad. Whatever happened, it seems Seungho just hates the man. I keep thinking that the dad must have killed someone Seungho was fond of... maybe his first love when growing up?
- I have no idea of what to make of the brother but I am hoping so much this is not a love triangle. I just can't handle love triangles. Besides, yeah, it's a cutie and all but to me the excitement of this plot is because Nakyum and Seungho are such extremes of each other and my hope was that they would be both changed a bit by each other's traits --- Seungho arrogance, lust, promiscuity and Nakyum repressed sexuality, innocence, naïve nature, they need to balance each other at some point. The little brother may be the fluffy one but I'm sorry, I can't imagine a passionate dick ball sucking talent being performed on Nakyum by any other but the sinful Seungho...
- Other reason I am not too keen on the little brother as love interest is because there are only so much trope I can take... Nakyum, Seungho and his harem are probably gays but must all men character turn gay like it was suddenly the water?
-- I am hoping ( guessing) the brother will be some kind of naïve person that Inhun will use? Maybe he will be fluffy little bunny pairing up with Nakyum and they will have cute little bunnies together and once in a while Nakyum will have dubious erotic scary dreams with big pervert bro.
Anyway, some may say that the highlight of the chapter is the little cutie bro but to me, the highlight is the blowjob!.... Nakyum cupping Seungho's face and Seungho looking hungry to go back to the meal... Seungho's giving some service to Nakyum's balls, Nakyum's nipples popping up ( the author put an effort there, she probably wanted them noticed) and Seungho getting a facial, lol. Never mind that he was still cleaning his face when he opened the door for his brother.
Somehow I want the brother to be an ambitious devil in an angel face who envies Seungho's position as older brother of the clan and wants to see him disinherited and dishonored and will be telling their father that Seungho is sleeping with a lowborn.... but I don't know if feudal times had things like that... where brothers had titles and power inheritance as monarchies.
