I read a lot of Victorian era books but I think wat he mean is that he is a marques but will be a Duke when his father the current Duke passes away. most of these Regency nobles have 3-4 titles. A boy can be born a viscount then become marques after certain age then Duke went he takes over the family

Am I the only one confused? I mean, in the beginning of the manga, Renald said he is from a Marquess house, and on the last chapter released he said he's from a stable ducal house... And now I am thinking, what are his families status. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
