thank you for the warning! I think I'm gonna back away after the second life. my wishful thinking is that she still had that stubbornness not wanting to be with another other than jin (even if she lost her memories) or at least got married but not doing anything (I know it's so cliche and impossible) ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Spoilers below. Spoilers for 3rd life and extra.

Jin never had a child during all 3 lifetimes. Juju's first child was with the King in 3rd life. Her second child is with Jin, but that is in the Extra. That child with Juju is Jin's first child. Sometime during the extra, their child got to know about his half brother, Juju's first child.
If anyone is confused reading the response above, let me clear it a bit. During the 3rd lifetime, Jin and Juju's husband went to a war that lasted for years. At some time while they were chatting with others, it got brought up about the husband having a family, that's Juju and their child. Jin was surprised but he could not do anything, just had to grit his teeth and bear with it. Husband was not flaunting, it was just something that came up in conversation. He knows Juju loves Jin but he was also happy that he could have her and call her his wife.
You're welcome. It was a pretty important trigger so I thought I need to let others know about it before they fell in too deep.
This makes it pretty different from other novels, but I know not everyone will share this opinion, and so I hope those who could understand it would still read this but those who couldn't would either leave it or delve in knowing what's going to happen and accept it.
Thanks for the spoiler but for some reason got me more excited lol.. I know they both did not ended up together but just to double check so I know juju got a child and husband but jin also married someone else right .? Cuz they lost their memory ..how did they regain it? Hmnn sorry too much spoiler but I am just so excited lol.. I like it cuz its something different n unexpected
It's great that you feel interested in it even with the possible triggers. Everyone has their own preferences.
It has been awhile since I read this so I can't say this with a hundred percent certainty but I'll try. If anyone can confirm or correct this, please do so.
For Jin, I don't think he got married or attached to anyone for all these 3 lifetimes. Even their 2nd lifetime, they died together in their youth.
They never recalled their old memories during the third lifetime. Again, I'm not so sure about this because I did a really quick skim of things to get the important points and never returned to it or plan to reread again. Jin died, Juju's husband died. Then she got the news and her health deteriorated, she was mourning them both since she felt like she could have gone on with doing her duties because she knew they were still alive.
After her death, we see she returned to her original life and rushed to her wedding with Jin. The end, and Extra started.
i dont find the sex thing with 1st husband to be bad... It is written according to the rules of tht world....The king ordering the arranged marriage does make it unavoidable her marrying him... In my opinion you should'nt be triggered by it...everybody is not christian or the 3 major faiths an lead to believe a woman can only ever be with just one man... same in same sex relationships...
Some people probably will find it triggering, because we know she loves Jin, even if she does not remember everything connected to her life as a goodess.
I personally loved and cried about 3rd life and I was not triggered. it was hard on me, but I think it made me love the story a lot more. We got a nice historical romance, fluffy highschool and heavy/dark medival times(?). I love the range, author made a good use of those ideas, even if 3rd life is hard because we see her going to another one (even though she fell in love with Jin from 3rd life).
I actually loved the fact that she saw how bad her husband's country was and she wanted and was able to improve it. I know the story is about romance, but i liked seeing them having their own hobbies/interests. Hence, her taking good care of a counrty was nice to hear. If she would become a sad lovesick wife I would not like that.
Some people will be triggerd because they want to see them only with each other. I get that, but it's not like she remembered about Jin when she bacame a wife of another. Yes, she had her first time with him, but if I were in her shoes? I would think this is how lifes goes and I would fulfill my promise to husband and my country and my son. I would then die and kind of "abandon" my body, since I would go back to my goddess self. And this is what our heroine did. She ended that life and dedicated herself to Jin after trials.
Being impure? Ehhh, that's insane and wrong.
Firstly, she did not remember her life when she married another.
Secondly, her body in which she was died, so basically she did not do it in her original body.
Thirdly, people need to get over the fact that girls sleep with only one man. I mean, I know it;s only a story and they might want her to be "pure" for him, but it's not like she cheated on him. I guess it's hard to understand because we live in diffetent times. Maybe if we lived in the past where getting married could be political and an obligation, some readers would be more understandable.
But don't worry, there will be always people complaing. :P There is no story that would please everyone. however, it kind of upsets me too - the fact that they call her impure.
Not everyone shares the same views as you. I personally, doesn't like my couples having this kind of obstacles/test in their relationships throughout the story. I wished I was warned about it before I started, so what I'm doing is what I wished someone had done before. Please respect my opinions on this. Thank you.
I'm glad you love the story. I know it wasn't something I would have read had I known the elements in it, but I have recommended it to people before, with mentions of the triggers and some of them that do read it liked it a lot because of how different it was. It's not something for everyone, but it's still a good story and deserve recognition even if there's triggers and people raging about it.
Yes, it had quite a following because of how it adopted elements like Sansheng and people wanted to read more of something like it. So when thrown something like this, people started accusing the authors. I guess some people forgot that even if the setting is ancient China where/when the purities of women are what decided her worth, this story is not strictly adhering to it and the author can manipulate and develop a plot based on their own opinions. It's sad to see people forcing their opinions on the author when it's not them writing it. At least, this story is still out there and the author did not fell victim to the accusations and hate to quit the circle.
Are you talking about me? If it was because of my words above, "So if you are people who like your characters pure, you should back away after the second lifetime." then you have misunderstood me. I am talking about the people who values the purity of their main couples, I know there are people out there who rage when their CP got involved with another throughout the story and my words are directed to them.
What I knew before reading was that 3rd story is kind of heartbreaking, but the story overall does have the happy ending. Probably if they didn't have it, I would have not read it. xD I need stories when a couple ends up together. xd
I would have reconsidered reading it if I knew all the elements, but I would probably read it anyway.
Novel spoiler. You like this one? Don't like surprises? OK, spoilers then.

Third lifetime, they won't remember their past. She's gonna be duty bound to marry someone else while her heart still loves the Jin of that lifetime. Yes, she and her husband (not Jin) had sex. They also had a child probably a year after their wedding. Jin still lived and faced the fact that the woman he loved is someone else, and also had a child with another. Jin and her husband died, she mourned for them both because even if it is familial love, she still love her husband even if it is not the kind of love the felt for Jin. In the extra, Jin and Juju's child knows about the half brother, and Jin defended the half brother and the other daddy too.
So if you are people who like your characters pure, you should back away after the second lifetime. Because let's face it, even if it was her corporeal form and not her immortal form, she did gave her first time to another and had her first family (husband and child) with another. And her Jin is okay with it because it's in the past and he is the one who is gonna have her forever.
Again, back away if this is trigger-ish for you.
