I figured this similar feeling out when I watched those 150+ episodes kdramas with my mom. Personally I dislike those because - on one hand they try to portray the female leads as levelheaded, smart and witty characters but then in the next moment they do something incredibly dumb. They read people so well but are frustratingly dense when it comes to the real good people. They are strong yet weak at the same time (usually both physically and mentally). Another similar story with a frustrating FL is "What Kind of Empress is this?!". It's as if the creators try to tick all the personality boxes and hope the audience will pick and choose those they like. This works with kpop groups but not with 1 character having all of those incompatible traits ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
