We need to stop categorizing gay relationships. I don't think this would "turn into yaoi" if dragon dude liked Hanbin, it would just be a shounen with a gay couple. There needs to be more f that in media imo, plus yaoi is porn lmao so there's that too.
I would love to see Hanbin and dragon dude go at it tho
Sorry but I don't quite understand what you mean... I personally believe that Yaoi is just a genre and besides, when I said Yaoi, I was thinking of Shounen ai as well but Yaoi was the more extreme version which worked well with my comment. PS:if I offended you I apologise because my comment probably wasn't clear enough.( ̄∇ ̄")
Sorry I had a feeling I wasn't making a lot of sense lol I mean that a story shouldn't suddenly be categorized as boy's love story just because a gay romance is in it. It kind of makes gay people seem like a category. It's fine if the author puts it in that category but I feel like this story wouldn't fit in the yaoi or shounen ai category since it's action/adventure first and foremost you know? That shouldn't change just because a gay couple develops is what I'm saying since it wouldn't change for a straight couple.
I totally agree with you that I want gay romance I just want more gay couples in mainstream genres too I guess, so gay love can be more normalized. Yaoi is literally porn though, that probably won't happen either way ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Oh, I understand what you mean now and after reading your comment and I totally agree. Initially when I was reading this I just thought it'd be cuterrified to see cute and random heart flutters between the characters. And besides I don't think this even has a Romance tag so just think of my comment as some airheaded kid spouting craziness. Also, I didn't think you were harsh at all, I just apologise a lot in general since I don't like offending people.
so i understand that you dont want their relationship to be categorized - but if the main characters of a story are both male and have a romantic relationship the story will still be required to have a BL genre tag on it. it isnt about categorizing the relationship, it is just a requirement with any story - you have to label things properly so you dont get in trouble for misleading people.
its like how food items are required to have a nutrition chart. but its different if there is a homosexual couple as side characters of a story though, then the romance isnt focused on them so you dont have to provide a BL or GL genre tag. this story wont have these two hook up so thats why it isnt labelled a BL.
Honestly, at this point I wouldn't mind if this became a yaoi for real..(⊙…⊙ )
