What I like is that Haesoos narrations do not always match with the truth. This shows us how dark and depressed his view became and how much he must have lied to himself to be able to breath or be able to live with a situation

    He didn't allowed himself to have hope. That's how things started. He died a little every day in those 10 years

    I don't see connection in always seeing himself as a victim with being depressed. Most depressed people see themselves as the one who hurt the others not the other way around.
