I think Jihyun will get better. I think Chiwoo will never want to meet with his rapist ever again though. And i think Chiwoo and Kyujin will stay together.

The scene was never shown, but it happened during the flashback. Between chapter 19 and 20 (or between 18 and 19). Jihyun raped Chiwoo, thats the reason why Chiwoo is afraid of Jihyun....

We have 1 panel one the rape scene, and it was shown twice. The first time, when Chiwoo in the hospital is telling Jihyun to go away forever, and in the last chapter. The panel shows Jihyun on top of Chiwoo, and Jihyun is in between Chiwoo’s bare legs.

Yes I'm sure he doesn't, but I would still like to see Jihyun come back you know, just so he's not just left as the bad guy of the story? They dont have to become back friends, I'm sure that would be very hard for Chiwoo but I think Jihyun appearing again and actually displaying how much he's changed to the audience would be nice so we're not just remembering him as a guy who ruined Chiwoo's life? Am I making sense? O.O

Yes you are making sense. But remains the fact he is actually a very bad person that doesn’t really deserve what you are wishing. He never felt guilty of raping Chiwoo, he only felt sorry about it when Chiwoo was casting him out of his life.

And then he physically forced his way back into Chiwoo’s life.

After rape, he stalker/bullied Chiwoo. And then attempted to destroy Chiwoo’s last hope (Kyujin) to heal from his trauma.

I don’t mind a side story for Jihyun, but let’s keep it overseas.

But that's the thing, all its display is the bad things. To just revoke Jihyun of anything is just...idk. He's not banned from South Korea so there should be a time he gets to come back, if he stays overseas that's cool too, however, just because he's portrayed as a bad character doesn't mean he doesn't deserves to have a change and grow for the better and eventually come back home. Again, he doesn't have to become back friends with Chiwoo, that is ultimately Chiwoo's decision but I'm sure, if the author did write a side story for Jihyun somewhere down the line he'll come in contact with Chiwoo even if by chance.

I understand what Jihyun did yo Chiwoo, I'm sure we all do but as I also said, thanks to mini flashback of his life I understand a little more why Jihyun tried so desperately to hold onto Chiwoo, and that desperation just led him down the wrong path, hurting Chiwoo more and more. Chiwoo deserves to be happy, he's been through a lot and Jihyun deserves to grow so he's no longer the scoundrel he once was. I'm not forgiving or forgetting the crap he's pulled, but I can recognize him as a person Who's your trying to change.

The thing is, he never tried to change so far. And his childhood didnt really explain his behavior. He just had no interest for everything but then Chiwoo happened and he had interest.

It’s not like he beat up people out of anger due to getting beat up by his dad. He just had nothubg of value except Chiwoo, so he beat up anyone that might partially take away Chiwoo from him. And he only did what was good for him, and never thought of what Chiwoo wanted.

He might have had a bad dad. But that wasn’t his reason for being such a bad person, atleast the story didn’t portray it that way to me. Is it his dad’s fault that Jihyun had only interests towards Chiwoo? Is it his dad’s fault that Jihyun only thinks about himself?

And as I said, i wouldn’t mind a side story, but i think it would be stupid to have him meet back with Chiwoo. Maybe Jihyun paying people to investigate Chiwoo’s life, or Jihyun looking at Chiwoo from afar, but we already past the *don’t ever come back to my life* from Chiwoo and it would be disappointing to have them meet.

Also as you said, if you want a story for Jihyun with a character development, first step is to actually do what Chiwoo wants for once and stay out of his life, then find someone else.

    MilkSu February 19, 2020 8:41 pm

And that's what Jihyun is doing, staying out of Chiwoo's life. That's why he agreed to go study abroad. No one forced him to go but he respected Chiwoo's decision. I think your getting confused with what I'm trying to say. Jihyun does not and I mean does not need to hire a private investigator or watch him from a far. That's not growing at all that's being the same person he once was. When I say I want to see him grow as a character I want him to forget Chiwoo, not return back to stalking him. When I say I want him to have a side story I want him to find someone new. It's okay if he still thinks about Chiwoo and it's ok if he doesn't change right away in the side story, that's what life is. You dont change instantly.

Also it is partially his father's fault for the way Jihyun has grown up. His father never shown love to Jihyun which resulted in Jihyun wanting that from Chiwoo. Chiwoo was the only one to ever show Jihyun care or love, and I believe it was when Jihyun was sick or injured and Chiwoo helped him. That's when Jihyun realized he didn't need anyone else BUT Chiwoo. That is also why Jihyun felt threatened when someone came near Chiwoo, he believed that Chiwoo would leave him and then he'd be all alone again. Jihyun felt his best option to keep Chiwoo was to make sure no one came near him at all cost and no it wasnt in regards for Chiwoo and Jihyun was being selfish. but Jihyun, in a way, is still like a child. He craves affection and that person he wants it from is Chiwoo. Also noted in the mini flashback, Jihyun stopped doing the things he did before until Chiwoo started getting new friends. And it worsened him. He began being more possessive.

It entirely unfair to just say his father had nothing to do with how Chiwoo turned about because that's no true. A parent has A LOT to do with how a kid develops and it has A LOT to do with their surroundings. And Again, we all know Chiwoo wants nothing to do with Jihyun but again that doesn't mean Jihyun has to stay overseas forever. He can stay there for a few years before coming back. I think your thinking that I'm saying Jihyun should come back almost instantly but that's not what I'm saying. And I'm not saying they should meet to repatch things. It can be a chance meeting. It'll be awkward, people would be uncomfortable but in no regards am I saying they should hug and be like "hey how's it going". They dont even need to speak to each other. But as a fellow writer, I feel that if Jihyun ever came back there would be a chance that him and Chiwoo encounter, even if Chiwoo doesn't see Jihyun.
