Also taking into account that shes been the scapegoat of Ms. Collins ever since she came to the capital and has been manipulated into being that type of character. Psychologically speaking its logical for her not to feel any self worth and to try her best to fit in in any way possible despite the consequences. Chole's original character is so tragic in so many ways. I felt annoyed with her too, but more than anything I feel sorry that shes always been so alone which makes it even harder for her to stand up for herself.
Also the fact that people easily believe in her changes and growth means she must not have been that bad to begin with. She was probably cornered into not being able to act for herself. I'm also questioning the budget mistake she made given Ms. Collins obsessive behavior in sabotaging her. I have an inkling shes probably been framed for a number of those mistakes. (And yeah passing on the blame to someone else isnt great but given the mental strain shes always constantly suffering from, you cant expect her to have been righteous in that moment)
There are people here saying that Chloe deserved to be bullied. Seriously? Yes she's wrong when she blamed the kitchen maid, but why the heck are you acting like she blames people like it's her hobby? She did it ONE time. I want her to apologize too just for the piece of mind of that maid coz the old Chloe's already gone. But i will never say that she deserved that. They didn't bully her for the kitchen maid's sake. They were already bullying her at the moment she stepped foot on that mansion for no reason at all, well some of them bullied her for fun and they saw her as inferior. Chloe would never turn out that weak if only someone just at least tried to help her, teach her the ropes, and support her. If only someone gave her strength, she would never be incompetent in the first place, and it wouldn't come to a point where she point fingers at someone becuse she would be strong enough to admit her mistakes.
People that say someone deserved to be bullied just because they fucked up ONE freaking time, which wouldn't have happened if only someone helped her, are the reason why there are many people getting depressed and worst, doing the big jump. You may not be the one doing the bullying but you sure as hell doing a great job being the bully's cheerleaders. There's no difference between you and the bullies..well except that one is doing the deed.
