honestly though! chapters cost less than a dollar! i'm sure we have 10 bucks lying around that we could use to support author :(

80 coins on WEBTOON is $7.99 whereas 42 coins on Lezhin is $9.99. On Tappytoon you can get 82 coins for $9.99. On other sites you can pay for monthly subscriptions for all content. Coming from someone who pays to read on multiple platforms, they are pricey in comparison.

That stated, I am glad to pay for good content so I always pay to read and come to this site to discuss chapters. I know that creating manga/manhua/manhwa is time consuming and doesn’t normally pay a ton so I try to support. But yeah, that site is still pricey compared to others

But still I bought all chapters of some series I really liked even though they were in lezhin. I genuinely, highly doubt this manwha would be taken down. This has happened before with From Points of Three, i think the author came here and left a message, instead mangago removed all the comments from the author then blocked South Korean IP. The author did an interview about it at an official English site started with F. I tried posting the interview before and this site blocked my comment from appearing.

I think Haesin did the right thing by coming here. If she cant stop her works from being pirated, the least she could do is asking the uploaders to stop uploading her works. Uploaders will change, of course, but i think it would take some time after this drama for someone to willingly upload.

It reminded me when someone trolled POTN forum by uploading chapter with eggplant emoji all over it. Afterward no one updated the chapter for two days, people started whining, then someone eventually uploaded the chapter.

I think I did hear of a couple manwhas comingdown tho not exactly sure how they did it though.

And that sounds like shit for mangago to do. I think they did it to an actual active member here (had favorites saved and every thing) and once they reported one manga, they just pulled their comments and topics and the member couldn't make any topics anymore. They weren't banned, they were just banned from the topic section of the manga they reported. They weren't even spamming or causing a fuss. They just. Mangago seriously doesnt treat it's own members right.

Haesin's account is still here. But if all that is true then if she reported this manga (which she mostly likely did) then maybe her topic or comments got pulled as well. Or they're going to be at least.

Now that I think on it, she's not fluent in English so she probably didn't know how to report at all. So maybe all she said is still here. If she just comments and doesn't report she can probably still make comments and topics. Unless someone wants to be that person and report her to staff. Because it seems as long as you don't mess with staff then you're still free to comment and make topics. Especially since it seems she was talking to people here individually. So she caught a luck break?

I don't know. All I know is that this is all a huge mess leaving an author very upset because several here were rude to her (from what she stated in emails and Ig) when she was only trying to protect what's hers.

At POTN forum they’re also acting how the authors should be grateful for the exposure Mangago gave them. Really? Exposure doesnt pay the effing bills. Or the excuse that there are korean pirate sites too, yes, you think the authors are NOT trying to do something about that? They have been doing petitions for how long now to the korean president trying to take care of that to no avail.
