I actually adore Parker. He's so sweet and obviously loves the MC so so much. It breaks my heart everytime he gets ignored and whenever the MC favors Curtis.
Yes, he's immature but he's basically a teenager and the MC is probably his first love. He hasn't had the chance to fully mature yet. You can't expect a teen to act so mature.
I mean Curtis isn't even mature. If you think about it, he kidnapped the MC and basically forced his mark on her. He's to violent and needs the MC's constant attention like a jealous child.
And don't get me started on the MC, she's so childish it's crazy. She treats Parker like a slave but doesn't even show him the slightest bit of gratitude.
