Yes, I am also confused about that part. My first time reading this. Just doesn't make any sense. Then the Ex just leaves? And what about the professor? I thought that was going to be explored in more depth. Anyway good read nevertheless.
I’m confused about one thing. Why did Karin sleep with Josh? Like I’m not angry or anything I’m just confused. It added absolutely nothing. No character development, nothing to the plot. It didn’t even create un needed drama. So what was the point of it being in there? It felt really out of place and unnecessary, especially when in the chapter before that Karin said that he was so in love with Mel. It’s just weird but whatever, not like it even mattered anyway. Everyone pretended it didn’t happen after josh left.
