definitely not though there is a sense of dread you feel from having someone close to you assault you it's especially hard when you know them and know they made a mistake but inturn it affects you more so (speaking from experience)

So if you were raped and abused but then your abuser just apologized and became a better person,would you forgive him just for that?Could you you magically forget all that happened to you and be like "oh you changed so much,now i love you so much,let's be together again like the old times when you didn't fuck up my life!"
