It had been years since he used XXC to kill anyone. SL was literally the first after a long time. But I have no doubt XY killed the rude sellers at the stands even if it's not stated
I think... xue yang kinda wanted to stay with xxc... in his own twisted wicked way....
By all means... I don't think xy felt any kind of love for xxc but if I put an emotion to my hunch/conclusion then it might be something akin' to peace? Like... I kinda felt he wanted to just stay there with xxc and torment people and make xxc kill people with him. I think.. that gave him peace and satisfaction and some what something like security??...... that's why he wanted to revive xxc....?
