Like seriously. How can a person make 5 chapters with nothing happening? It’s getting boring, and nobody’s interested in the brownie sister or whatever her problems are, if this is the authors way of creating tension for the big reunion then I’m afraid she’s failing.

It's not her story though? This is only a manhua adaption, and the artist's favouritism for Jennette is making her literally deviate the comics from the original story.
It's quite frustrating as the artist is seriously starting to turn the novel into her own little fanfiction, trying to make Jennette the new heroine to root for - but she's failing at it.
