MC has a 100 in healing so can't he at least... TRY to get rid of the curse on his friend? They can secretly meet up and they could check out how powerful MC's healing abilities are.

    I guess healing and purification are different things? Kinda like how cure and esuna are different things in final fantasy games. One restores hp and the other erases bad status effects.
