Good choice

He was right to choose getting rid of Gabriel coz I truly believe he's gone far from saving. His obsession is no longer healthy and he's even denied having romantic feelings for Colin. Raphael was right, sharing bodies with Gabriel is like having parasite in him. Thus, giving that bad personality away to the devil is just fitting. I just hope Raphael would treat Colin right and love him normally as how he claimed to have felt earlier.

Clearly everybody here doesn't know shit about split personalities, both are Gabriel, and the parts of him he could not cope, he used to create Raphael, if Gabriel is bad, Raphael is probably ten times worse. The devil accept the deal, bc it was a much amusing choice for him.

Whoa! Chill your horses genius sensei.. My comment is clearly my personal opinion of how I read and digest the story. I may not know much about Dissociative Identity Disorder as how you insinuate but I do know DID is one person creating different consciousness. However, with the demon's character in this story, it gives me the sense of fantasy which, in a way, liberates me to think outta the box, too. Scientifically speaking, people with DID really can't choose either persona yet since it's just a manga, (and dude, it's just a work of fiction may I remind you), I interpreted the sucking out of Gabriel's persona from the body a way to get rid of the character in order for the mangaka/artist to reach a somehow happy and justifiable ending. Since, you know, it's heading towards the ending, hence the time to wrap up the story and make a concrete couple out of it. If you always stick to too much realism in every fantasy work, you wouldn't be able to appreciate the work created by fiction writers. Meh. To each his own, man.
