I would rather read about characters with bad pasts than characters that are all normal and this and that. Let’s be honest what makes a story interesting is something bad happening. I only know a few authors whom have made few stories where the characters are happy all the time

Well then... you know that people actually do that stuff, right? And your excuse for dropping this is really screwed up... not because you want characters with bad pasts, but because you don’t recognize that these two characters do have incredibly bad pasts. I’m so confused as to how you can get upset that the author made this realistic with all the drama.
