I think her case is a bit different, lotie is kinda forced into protection (people around her are way too overprotective and underestimate her) rather then actually actively needing it. Even though she is not at full power now she is still smart and knowledgeable enough to get out of actual bad situations on her own.
Yeah ik I like how she's knowledgeable, I just hope they(authors) don't make her do something stupid or what not just because she's being protected by the others.
But yeah they excessively protect her
